A small shop with a simple idea: handmade pie, locally roasted organic coffee, and a record player. That is The Pie Shoppe.
Pie is the centre of everything we do. Sweet pies rotate with the seasons. You will find classics like Apple and Chocolate Pecan on the menu year round, alongside whatever seasonal fruit is at its peak. Berry pies in summer. Stone fruit in late August. Pumpkin and pear in autumn. Citrus curd when winter needs brightening.
Savoury pies make appearances too. Chicken pot pie, mushroom and leek, and other combinations that change depending on what local farmers have available. If you are looking for lunch, a savoury slice with a cup of coffee is a fine way to spend a Tuesday.
All coffee is roasted in house by Panoramic Coffee Roasters, Stephanie's own micro roasting operation. Beans are organic, fairly traded, and sourced from small farmers around the world. We brew by hand only: Pour Over or Aeropress, one cup at a time.
The Pie Shoppe is 300 square feet. Seating is extremely limited. Most people grab a slice and a coffee to go, or linger by the counter chatting with whoever is working that day. The record player is always on. The art on the walls is from friends. The vibe is relaxed, personal, and unhurried.
We are not an espresso bar. We are not a restaurant. We are a pie shop. Come as you are, have a slice, and see what is spinning on the turntable.
