Come join us Sunday, March 19th for an afternoon of pie baking! Together we'll chat apples, sugars, starches, perfecting flaky crust, and create a brilliant apple pie. We'll be working with local and organic ingredients sourced from around here. While the pies are baking, we will have some snacks and drinks.

This workshop is perfect for understanding the foundation of pie making and pastry techniques. Everyone will walk away with a pie, a booklet of recipes and tips, and a few new friends.
Flakey pie crust (All butter vs. shortening)

WHEN: Sunday, March 19th, 3 P.M. to 6 P.M.
WHERE: The New Pie Shoppe 1875 Powell Street, Vancouver, British Columbia . We are located in the middle of the city. Class size is limited to 10. You will be provided with aprons, rolling pins, a pie plate and tasty eats. Workshops will involve wheat flour. Our space is not gluten free, nor is any of the snacks we provide. Keep in mind our kitchen is really cozy, so this workshop will be very intimate workshop.
CANCELLATION: Should you need to cancel you will receive 75% of your money back up to two weeks before the class date. If you cannot attend, yet it is past the refund date, you are welcome to send a friend in your place.
